Description

Damask Rose is one of the most popular Heirloom Sterling patterns, introduced in 1946. Grosvenor N. Allen and Mary P. Fleming are credited with the design. The handle flares gently toward the top and is decorated with roses and leaves. Pieces are marked Heirloom Sterling, and many also carry the words Damask Rose. A set marked partly with the pattern name and partly without it is still one pattern. It stayed popular for as long as Oneida made sterling flatware.
