Sell your jewelry, coins or silver. Leave with a check.

Bring your gold, diamonds, silver dollars and sterling to our gallery in Edina. We look at everything with you, explain how we arrive at our number, and pay by check the same day. And because we also run auctions, we will tell you plainly when a piece would do better in one of our sales.

Two ways to sell

Most pieces are worth what their metal is worth. With gold near record highs, that is often more than they would bring at auction, and we will say so. Some pieces are worth a good deal more than their metal. A signed bracelet, a Carson City dollar, a Georg Jensen service. Those belong in front of bidders.

A buyer who only buys has no reason to tell you which is which. We run our own sales, so we do. You get one honest recommendation, and the decision is yours.

What we buy

How it works

Why people sell to us

Every valuation is done by Sebastian Gholl, who has spent seven years buying and selling this material at auction. We are a licensed auction house with a permanent gallery in Edina, rated 4.7 across 187 reviews. We explain every offer and welcome questions. And if your piece belongs at auction, we will say so, even though it means we do not buy it that day.

If you would rather place a piece in one of our sales, see consigning with us. For formal written valuations, see our appraisal services.

Frequently Asked

Do I need an appointment?

We prefer one. Call ahead and the right specialist will be here when you arrive. Walk-ins are welcome Monday to Friday between 10am and 4pm, but a quick call first means no waiting.

Is there a charge for an offer?

No. We examine and weigh everything in front of you and explain how we arrived at the number. If the offer is not right for you, you take your pieces home.

How do you decide what to pay?

For metal, weight, purity and the spot price that day. For anything with collector value, the maker, pattern, date, condition and rarity, and what comparable pieces have actually sold for. Then we tell you whether the metal or the market is the higher number.

When do I get paid?

The same day. Once you accept an offer we write the check before you leave.

Should I sell outright or consign to auction?

It depends on the piece. Common gold, ordinary sterling and common date coins usually do better sold outright. Signed jewelry, key date coins and collected makers usually do better at auction, where bidders compete. We will tell you which yours is.
