Description
Acorn is the best known Georg Jensen flatware pattern. Johan Rohde designed it in 1915, and it became popular soon after it was shown at the San Francisco world's fair. Each handle has a smooth tapering stem with a stylized acorn ornament near the top. At one time the range ran to about 220 different pieces, so you will find many unusual serving and specialty items. Georg Jensen still makes Acorn in sterling, and most pieces on the market carry the postwar dotted oval with STERLING DENMARK.
