Description
Joan of Arc is an International Silver pattern first made in 1940. The handle has a raised center panel framed by a carved border on both sides, with rococo scrolls and a sculpted shell in the style of the Louis XV court. Dealers credit the design to Alfred G. Kintz, International's longtime designer. Look for International Sterling on the back of the handle. If your handle shows a raised center panel inside a carved scroll frame, that is the quickest sign you have Joan of Arc.
