Description

Royal Danish is a 1939 International Silver pattern by Alfred G. Kintz, drawn from Scandinavian design. It became one of the best selling American sterling patterns, and Kintz also designed matching hollowware for it. After International stopped operating in the 1980s, the pattern continued to be made offshore from the old dies, so newer pieces exist. Older pieces read International Sterling on the back, often with the pattern name. Compare the crispness of the detail when you match newer pieces to an older set.
