Description
Grande Baroque is Wallace's best known pattern and often called the best selling American sterling design. William S. Warren designed it, and it came out in 1941. The handle is fully sculpted on both sides, with a curling acanthus leaf and carved pillar shapes, so the piece looks finished from front and back. Wallace was still selling it new in 2016 for its 75th anniversary. Expect Wallace Sterling and the pattern name on the back. Heavy weight and crisp detail on the reverse help you spot genuine pieces.
