Description

Sir Christopher is a 1936 Wallace pattern by William S. Warren, named for the English architect Sir Christopher Wren. Look for acanthus leaves, small rosettes, a shell and scrollwork on the handle. It belongs to the same Third Dimension Beauty group as Rose Point and Grande Baroque. Pieces are marked Wallace Sterling. It is heavier and more ornate than most patterns of its decade and sells well in full services. If your handle has a shell and rosettes but no lace effect, it is likely Sir Christopher rather than Rose Point.
