Description

Burgundy is a Reed & Barton pattern first made in 1949 and sold until 2019, a seventy year run that left a lot of it in estates. The handle ends in a scalloped tip, with scrolls, leaves and a flower worked into the top. The finish is bright and polished, not oxidized. You will usually find the Reed & Barton name and the word Sterling stamped on the back of the handle. Sets for eight or twelve turn up often at auction.
